And I am now reading:
Dark Matter and the Dinosaurs
Last Monday night I watched Particle Fever at the behest of a frequent library patron. So why am I writing about Quantum Science at a spiritual blog, you may ask? I am completely fascinated by the subject. Parallel Worlds, Dark Matter, Carl Sagan, Einstein. How can someone NOT be interested in science, in The Big Bang, in where we came from? And I also believe that Science and Spirituality can cohabitate quite nicely. And If you’ve been following Wisdom and Life for any length of time, you’ll know that I sometimes detour from the spiritual.
In fact, I’ve written about that here too. It was Einstein who said:
There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; or you can live as if everything is a miracle.” Einstein and Miracles
Nothing would make me happier than to do what Amanda Gefter did in her book Trespassing on Einstein’s Lawn:
Getting to talk with some of the physicists from Particle Fever, from Trespassing… talking to Michio Kaku. That would be my physics heaven.
See? While I have a rock solid belief in God, I also make room for Quantum Science, The many worlds theory fascinates me as well.
And now that I’ve read so many books and seen several documentaries on the subject, I can say that I’m beginning to understand a bit more. And as I continue to read more from the subject, I’m understanding more all the time. The funny thing is that while I was going to school, physics did not interest me IN THE LEAST.
Now I can’t get enough of it.
Be Happy! Be Well! Be Positive!
Blessings to you.
Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;
We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying. For there truly is no end.
