Thanksgiving has passed and we are now in full holiday mode. I heard it said last week that November is the thankful month and December is the “I want” month or something similar.
We shouldn’t have to rely on one month to be thankful. We should be grateful 24-7/365.

What are you thankful for? And how can you carry that gratitude with you into December and beyond? There is only so much that we can want before we start having too much. Instead of “Wanting” in December, why not consider the true meaning of Christmas and other Winter holidays?
What do you think the TRUE meaning of the holidays are? I can tell what it’s not:
It’s NOT about Santa Claus.
It’s NOT about getting “things.”
It’s NOT about Black Friday.
It’s NOT about wishing you spent more money on the people you love.
Then what IS the true meaning of the Christmas season?
Spending time with loved ones.
Being grateful for what you have and not wanting more.
Being grateful is one of the tenets of Law of Attraction. If you know anything about Law of Attraction (LoA), it may well be from The Secret. The Secret is only just one aspect of LoA however. The Secret discussed how to GET THINGS. But there is so much more to the practice. LoA is REALLY a way of living your life and Being Grateful is the major tenet of the practice. Being Grateful for what you have and not wanting anymore.
Interesting that Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving fall in the same month. For those are two days we should be thankful. And it’s why I think that November is indeed called the Thankful Month. We should be thanking US Veterans when we see them, not just in November but EVERY TIME we see them.
