Chaos Creates Peace

Make more decisions in every day. Because a decision is a summoning of life. That’s why a little chaos is good for you, because often you don’t make a decision until you get yourself in a jam. And then, in the middle of the jam, you make a decision?  Have you ever been a place where you couldn’t quite make up your mind and you just felt sort of limp? “Oh, I don’t know. I don’t know.”

And then you decided, and you felt alive again. We want you to know that you’ll never get it done. So don’t approach this from, “I gotta get on this” because you’re not ever going to get it done, anyway. And the other thing we want you to know is, you cannot get it wrong. So, make a decision. Let it flow.

Abraham Hicks

Wisdom and Life’s original intention was as a Law of Attraction resource, as can be seen from the number of columns at the preceding link.  My blog took a detour shortly after its inception. Law of Attraction still plays a role here, however.

Chaos is good for you?  Yes.  Sometimes it is.

It is only in chaos that we really live.
It’s in chaos that our lives come into focus.
It’s in chaos where we MUST choose this path or that one.

For while, I said chaos is good for us, we certainly don’t want to spend our entire lives there.  That would NOT be good.  As with everything though, if we didn’t know chaos we surely wouldn’t know peace.  In my column God’s Tunnel, I refer to a scene in Oh God, Book II where George Burns as God talks to the protagonist about why there is so much suffering in the world.  God tells Tracy that there are opposites.  You can’t have good without bad. Etc.

Peace and Chaos can walk the same path just as Science and Religion can.  They are both opposite sides of the same coin.  Without chaos we wouldn’t know peace and without science we certainly wouldn’t know religion.

So while we have chaos there is also peace.  And when does that peace arrive from the chaos?  After you’ve made a decision, correct?  Whether that decision is right or not is not the thing to worry you, because as Abraham-Hicks says:
You cannot get it wrong.

The calm that comes over you after you’ve made your choice is all you need to understand and stay with.  Everything else is simply ephemera.  Let all that go and relish in the decision that you’ve made.  Move on and don’t look back.

Without chaos we wouldn’t be put in a place to make a decision.  So, chaos plays an integral role in our lives, much more so than we think.  We should welcome it when it comes knocking and bid it adieu when it is replaced by the calm we so look forward to after we make that decision.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.

  1. The unsettling experiences we go through can make for leaps in our spiritual growth. They may not feel comfortable or comforting at the time, but when we look back, we can see the progress we’ve made.
    Blessings, Chris!
