Thaddeus Squirrel

My friend and blogger, Tom Rapsas, whom I first met on Google+ has written a wonderful spiritual guide for those of us who still don’t know what path they should choose. Thaddeus Squirrel is the PERFECT book to give to high school students.  If you click on the preceding link to purchase from my website, I will benefit.

Thaddeus, while in the midst of collecting food for the winter months, one morning has a crisis of conscience.  In other words, he awakens.

He realizes there is so much more to life than simply over collecting.  In his case, it is over collecting food. However, if you look at the story of Thaddeus, I’m sure you will find correlations to our own lives.

What are we collecting, that we don’t need?
Are you honoring the sacred path that is your calling?
Do you know what your calling is?

These are all questions that Thaddeus struggles with.  They are questions we all are challenged by.  What we must do is quiet the noise around us and center on the inner voice we all have.

Meditating is one way to do this. Some of us are fortunate to have a well tuned in voice.  We’ve been practicing for years, honing that inner wisdom.  For those of you who can’t hear it or those of you who know there is something more, but aren’t sure how to find it, Thaddeus can be your guide.  Simply follow him as he travels away from his comfort zone, away from the only home he has ever known.  For it is only in the journey that we can find ourselves.  It is only in stepping away that we can find our way home.  The home where we belong; not necessarily the home we grew up in.

There is much to learn from Thaddeus.  Simply take the first step with him and let him show you your way.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris

Once you realize that life is eternal,
That our souls our eternal,
That we return to light and physical over and over;

We then lose all our distress
We then lose all our fear of dying.  For there truly is no end.
