Speaking Up

The best you can do for anyone is to thrive fully and be willing to explain to anyone who asks how it is that you are thriving, and what it is that you’ve discovered—and then, just relax and trust that all truly is well.

You should NEVER be afraid to speak up.  If someone notices a change in your behavior, a more positive outlook, a refusal to get sucked into that negative swamp don’t be hesitant to tell them why.  Whatever the reason.  If they are truly your friends, if they truly respect you, they will still be your friends, after you explain to them what caused your change.  In fact I’d say you owe it not only to yourself but to anyone who asks.

You could be the person to alter your friend’s life forever.  Just think if you shrugged off your friend and said why people typically say:
Ahh, nothing really changed.

You do understand what that response is don’t you?  It’s a defense mechanism.  It’s something we ALL do to prevent humiliation at worst or maybe an eye roll or insincere laughter possibly.  We have to move past this obstacle everyone faces if we truly want to make a difference.  How will anyone change if those that HAVE changed don’t share their secret.

It’s like the book and movie:
The Secret.  The movie begins by saying and I’m paraphrasing here:
There is a secret passed down by a select few.

A select FEW?  Why just a select few?  How is that supposed to affect change if only a few people know about it?  If your life has changed for the better, should your natural inclination be to share what you’ve discovered?

Well?  Shouldn’t it be?

I see some of you out there shaking their heads.  You’re thinking the old way.  You’re afraid of open ridicule.  Well let me set your mind at ease.  I guarantee should you tell someone you’re following The Law of Attraction, there will be no ridicule, maybe a raised eyebrow, but once you explain to them exactly what it is and how practicing has made an impact in your life and they notice that change they will walk away with that knowledge.  Maybe they won’t use it themselves but just by not shrinking away you’ve affected change.

The next time you’re in a Barnes and Noble find the self help section and I bet you’ll see row on row of Law of Attraction books.  And it isn’t just literature where this is popping up.  In October, 2007 an episode of Two and Half Men devoted a storyline to the UNIVERSE providing.  Ostensibly, the episode is about Charlie who is jingle writer.  He hasn’t had a gig in months.  He’s not worried and throughout the episode he says he’s not worried, that the universe will provide.  The universe will provide is a key phrase in The Law of Attraction.  So you see?  If Two and Half Men can write about The Law of Attraction then it is truly part of the human lexicon now.
Stop being afraid of ridicule and speak up.  It’s the only way to affect change.

Be Happy!  Be Well!  Be Positive!
Blessings to you.

Chris
